5. Kevin Rose: Kevin Rose participa en varios proyectos de "contenido en linea": programas sobre tecnologia distribuidos como archivos de video sobre la red de redes.

OK OK....I know I should be talking about a more recent movie....what can I say, I am overdue in the Movie department :)

Last night I saw Sin City, and I love it. It's great to see another Robert Rodriguez dark and violent movie. I really like how they presented the colors and images, great work, and to make it even better Q. Tarantino was in the project :)

Nos vacilamos el viernes en casa de panas comiendo pabellon criollo y viendo el estreno wisconsoniano de "Punto y Raya". La pasamos de lo mejor, solo falto un dulcito criollo de postre y de repente un Cacique para los tomadores de ron.

Volviendo a "Punto y Raya", tremenda pelicula!. Estoy bastante contento con lo que esta haciendo el cine venezolano, ya no puedo esperar para ver "Secuestro Express".

Yesterday was a very cool day in technology. There was the release of Google Talk which brings another (or perhaps not just "another") IM tool our computers. The BAD news: is just for PC, no MAC version. HOWEVER, it can connect with iCHAT :)

The other technology related item from yesterday was the release of the 2.0 release of the PSP's platform. This adds very cool features to the PSP. I love my PSP and will be adding a post about its general functionality and what 2.0 does.

Yesterday was a very cool day in technology...But the week is not over so lets see what else happens :-)

Cuando comencé el blog me dije que lo haría en ingles para así hacerlo "mas universal" o lo que es igual que mas gente lo pudiese leer...Pero luego pensé en lo mucho que me gusta escribir en español y lo chévere que seria tener un blog en español...Motivador a mencionar fue el ver el gran trabajo de los bloggeros venezolanos...Entonces para hacer el cuento corto me dije: dos opciones...o mantengo otro blog en la lengua de Cervantes o hacemos esta vaina bilingue...asi que, he aquí el resultado...

Para la gente de paraguana y la de wisconsin un blog a dos lenguas...Vayalo

Back Home!!!!!

Well it has been a great week....Westchester, NY was great...ok not the town but the event that I was at :)

Now here in Milwaukee ready for the weekend...Weekend = a few drinks and the pool.

Here I am under a heavy thunderstorm un Westchester, NY connected through some "default" wireless network I found in the Hotel.

I will be here a few days for training, so no fun at all :(

My room even has a great view to a "no time to use" pool...

Going back to the storm, its really bad. Not sure when will the rest of the group (coming from all over the USA) will get here. I hope they can get here OK and on time.

Speaking of getting here OK. I have never been in an airplane that shacked some much like the one I was in today while landing in Westchester....not a good experience at all.

Any way...let me see what is on TV on these side of Lake Michigan....hopefully I can catch an episode of "Wanted" (TNT), highly recommended.

Last Saturday when I came back home I saw in CNN that the great Ibrahim Ferrer will now sing with Compai Segundo in other dimensions.

I still remember when I saw him in Madison, WI like 3 years ago, a wonderful experience....

V for Vendetta

Well I am back, and hopefully I will be posting more frequently :)

Many things happen since the last time I added a post....I saw the sun come out at 4 am (or maybe earlier) in Sweden, participated in the Olympic party in London and also saw the tragic events in this my very dear city that I call Gotham....London was an experience and that's why I love it so much. (some detials of the trip later with some pictures as well)

But I guess I didn't have enough of London or the real 21 Century Terrorism and I am now addicted to Spooks, one of the greatest spy TV shows ever....I am almost done with Season 3 ...so all I have to say is: BBC...PLEASE RELEASE SEASON 4 SOON!!!!!

Spooks (called MI5 in the USA) presents a very "realistic" and "human" side of the British internal security service: Military intelligence 5 or MI5. It doesn't have the intense action of 24 or the "Rambaldi-style" adventures of Alias, but believe me is excellent.... by the way, I saw MI5 and MI6 (external security) HQs while in London.

Where does the name come from? Well Spooks is how British call spies....plain and simple.

Well that's all for now, time to watch some TV....or maybe a Spooks episode :)
